Youth Problems Worth Attention

“In the frames of “Youth solidarity and international day of students” project the association of Armenian young women announces “5165” competition,” Lilit Asatryan, the head of the association announced today in the press conference. The name of the competition symbolizes the height of Ararat. According to Lilit Asatryan the goals of the competition are the cooperation of youth NGO-s and Mass Media. She said that the youth parties and the youth programs are not covered in appropriate way. NGO-s and young enterprisers representing projects with youth problems and women problems directions can take part to the competition. The projects will be evaluated by a group of free experts. Besides there will be financial rewarding in “Best youth project” and “Best youth enterprising” nominations. The participants will be given certificates. There are rewards for Mass Media representatives, too. The results of the competitions will be announced in 2008 January, and the award-giving ceremony will take place in the second part of January. In addition to this we’d like to mention that the international youth solidarity day is celebrated in November 10, and the international student day on 17.
