In Celebration of Women’s History Month
The U.S. Embassy in Armenia with the support of the RA Ministry of Education and Science is pleased to announce an
ESSAY CONTEST
On the topic

“I CARVE MY OWN FUTURE!”

Eligibility: Female Students from Yerevan High Schools
Winners: Authors of the best ten essays will be invited to the residence of the U.S. Ambassador in Armenia to present their essays to a group of Armenian women leaders and representatives of press in March.
ESSAY: Essays should be one-page long (max 500 words). They may be in English or Armenian. The selection will be based on the following criteria:

• Display your vision of your role as an agent of change in society
• Present ideas clearly
• Demonstrate analytical thinking

Essays should be sent to the U.S. Embassy in Armenia to the following email: . In the top right corner please indicate your full name, school #, year (grade), phone(s) and email. The selection committee comprised of representatives from the U.S. Embassy and the RA Ministry of Education and Science will choose the ten best essays within three weeks.
Essays should be submitted only in electronic format to essaycontest@usa.am by March 10, 2011.
