Practice in the AYWA –We are waiting for you

Armenian Young Women’s Association is inviting students, as well as young women and girls who are looking for a job to practice in the events organized by Armenian Young Women’s Association. The applicants are inviting not only from Yerevan, but also from educational institutions of Yeghegnadzor and Alaverdi, where the Armenian Young Women’s Association has branches.
The areas of practice:
1. Leadership and democracy projects
Main job description

• To take part in leadership and democracy projects, discussions organizing within them
• To initiate the implementation of new projects in the relevant areas
• To help projects’ officers if necessary
• To collaborate with partner organizations
• To conduct negotiations
• To compile reports
• To represent the organization

2. Administration
Main job description

• To organize the correspondence
• To compile letters and notes if necessary
• To answer calls
• To greet the visitors
• To organize the work with the members
• To organize meetings
• To provide technical requirements during the projects and meetings (shoots, ads, messages’ preparation and spreading)
• To develop a variety of documents with the support of the staff
• To follow office discipline

3. Marketing
Main job description

• To explore and analyze the relevant market common with the Armenian Young Women’s operation fields
• To conduct negotiations

4. Public Relations
Main job description

• To develop and compile informative materials and messages
• To provide work with mass media
• To compile materials for the website

The duration for the practice in all areas is from 1 to 6 months. The participantswho successfully finishing their practice will work in the Armenian Young Women’s Association’s office. After the practice the participants will receive the appropriate characteristics and / or references for their future employment.
As well as the practice participants will receive certificates approving that they have their practice in mentioned period in the Armenian Young Women’s Association.
The deadline is November 30th of this year. It is necessary to send the applications to Cc: , by mentioning “Practice” in the subject. In the first ten days of December interviews with shortlisted candidates.
The start will be from December 15th of this year.

• The letter directed to Armenian Young Women’s Association, where the applicants first name, last name, father’s name, contact information, the place of education (for student), the preferred period of practice (the duration, start and the end of practice) should be included
