On October 6-7, 2015 AYWA President Lilit Asatryan participated in 2-day regional conference on “Gender Equity in Central West Asia DMCs: Gains and Lessons Learned from Gender Mainstreaming Initiatives” organized by Asian Development Bank. Some 40 government and civil society partners from Central and West Asia countries gathered in one place for conference. Participants discussed results of research on how to leverage information and communication technology for women’s businesses, funded through ADB technical assistance.
AYWA president presented “Active Women in Rural Communities of Armenia” project, which was implemented by ADB’s financial support.
