Professional training on “Greenhouses development”

From September 23th till October 1st Armenian Young Women’s Association and AYWA partner VISTAA Expert center had organized 7-day training on “Environmental control, integrated pest management in greenhouses”.
20 women from Akhtala, Shamlugh, Mets Ayrum and Neghots communities of Lori region are participating in the training. The women having participated in the training are AYWA WENA members, AYWA partners and beneficiaries.
During the training women get acquainted with all the rules and norms of environmental control, pesticide safety, pest management methods, all the details related to crops and soil nutrition. Training participants had an opportunity to practice the knowledge they got during that days.
Due to practical lessons women learned how to establish greenhouses and develop it. It gives also an opportunity to get the answers to their questions.
The training is the part of AYWA's “Social and economic empowerment of women in Armenia” project.
