An agreement was signed between Armenian Young Women’s Association and Canadian Executive Service Organization.

Donna Denham and Joan Gillespie - Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO) volunteers, were hosted in AYWA Friends’ club on the 10th of April. Donna and Joan were in Armenia for AYWA Quilting project.

President Serzh Sargsyan signed an edict on ratifying the statute of the Public Council and appointing its members. Lilit Asatryan, president of Armenian Young Women’s Association, is among the members of the Public Board.

Meeting with new members and volunteers was organized by AYWA on Mach 6. Old members were present at the meeting as well. CESO volunteer Rick McTaggart who supports AYWA to develop the Fundraising strategy also participated in the meeting.

On December 7, 2008, Armenian Young Women Association arranged the visit to Orphan's Home named after F. Nansen in Gyumri within the frames of the activities devoted to sorrowful date of twentieth year of the Earthquake.
In December 3, 2008 the International Day of Persons with Disabilities within the frames of the “Access to Education is Ensured for Children with Disabilities” project the Youth Theater of Armenian Young Women Association presented the puppet shows in Alaverdi and Akhtala towns of Lori marz.
