On the 10-23 of July 2009 AYWA and “Open medical club” NGOs with the support of the “Fight against cancer” world organization and in cooperation with Kotayk marzpetaran implemented the project “Breast cancer early prevention in Armenia, in the Kotayk region”.

On the 21st of July Armenian Young Women`s Association participated in the building work of "Building with Faith" program.

On the 20th of June at the office of Armenian Young Women`s Association a meeting took place with the volunteers of the Armenian Assembly of America.The volunteers were representing different Armenian communities in the United States of America.

Laylee Moshiri – UNICEF Representative, was hosted in AYWA Friends’ club on the 20^th of May. The Volunteer of Canadian Executive Service Organization David Evershed who is in Armenia within co-operation with AYWA also took part in the meeting.

The training participants were greeted by Zaruhi Postanjyan – member of Heritage Parliamentary fraction.

The presentation of the Manual for Implementation of Training Courses and Projects “Youth Participation” took place on 15 May, 2009. The Manual for Implementation of Training Courses and Projects “Youth Participation” has been developed and published by Armenian Young Women’s Association, with th support of US Embassy in Armenia.

The training participants were greeted by Mark Levinson – USAID Democracy adviser.

The members of Armenian Young Women’s Association visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial, respecting the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.

On the 7^th of April, the Day of Motherhood and Beauty, Armenian Young Women’s Association is becoming 5-years old.

An agreement was signed between Armenian Young Women’s Association and Canadian Executive Service Organization.
