Journalists representing printed, online media, TV and radio companies of Armenia as well as independent journalists are eligible to submit their publications to take part in the competition. The published and broadcast publications and their authors may also be nominated by NGOs and individuals. It’s aimed also to organise public voting in British Council Armenia Facebook page.
Materials must have been published or broadcast within the period from January to December 2011 and cover the activities and achievements, problems and challenges of women in political, economic and social spheres as well as Gender Based Violence. All publications should be presented from the gender equality perspective.

- World Vision Armenia’s Child Health Now Campaign gives a special award to the best media submission highlighting maternal and child health issues.
- UNFPA gives a special award to the best media submission highlighting sex selective abortions in Armenia.
- Armenian Young Women Association gives a special award for the best Student work.
