Visit to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia

Within the Women Entrepreneurship Week in Yerevan, on June 11th, 2015, within the framework of RA National Assembly’s “Open Lesson” program local and international participants of International Conference on Women Entrepreneurship “Vision of New Developments” visited National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. Women entrepreneurs first had a walk in the assembly, followed the sessions, then a meeting was held with NA vice speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, deputies Karine Poghosyan and Ruzanna Muradyan.
Armenian Young Women’s Association, Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia and FCEM Armenia president Lilit Asatryan first introduced the goals, problems and achievements of International Conference on Women Entrepreneurship, held from the June 8th to June 10th, 2015 where NA vice president Hermine Naghdalyan also made a speech.
NA vice speaker welcomed the participants in the NA, pointing out the importance of holding such forums and the exchange of international experience in the sphere of entrepreneurship. She once again expressed her appreciation for the achievements of women entrepreneurs in the country, and added that nowadays Government of the Republic of Armenia has a policy to support women start-up entrepreneurs. Appreciating a woman’s role in the Armenian reality, Hermine stated that women play an important role in the development of nowadays economic situation in the country.
Referring to entrepreneurial skills and management mechanisms, deputy Ruzanna Muradyan stated that a program will be developed in the near future, which will promote the culture of entrepreneurial thinking among the citizens from the early age. Hermine Naghdalyan presented the structure of NA to over 40 participants, talked about constant committees, ongoing legislative processes and sessions’ procedures.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome, founder-president of Armenian Young Women’s Association Lilit Asatryan awarded the NA vice-speaker with a certificate, which included participants’ words of gratitude to Hermine Naghdalyan for her support and dedication.
