Within the Women Entrepreneurship Week in Yerevan women entrepreneurs from Armenia and abroad as well as conference participants visited the historical-cultural places of Armenia to get acquainted with Armenian history, culture and traditions. They have been in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Geghard Monastery, Matenadaran, “Ararat” Yerevan Brandy Company.
Father Natan Archbishop Hovhannisyan welcomed participants of the conference in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The Holiness spoke about the importance of woman's role Armenian society for centuries.
The next station was Geghard Monastery, the medieval complex, a spiritual and cultural center. Here woman entrepreneurs were welcomed by the beautiful performance of “Luys” quintet.
The Matenadaran named after Mesrop Mashtoc is unique with his manuscripts collection and with his activities directed towards the preservation of Armenian national identity. Because of this the women entrepreneurs made the study visit to Matenadaran, where they got acquainted with Armenian written culture (and not only Armenian, but also foreign nation’s written culture) history.
In “Ararat” Yerevan Brandy Company the conference participants got acquainted with the history of brandy company, the process of Armenian traditional brandy making, also the selection process of good brandy presented.
