Armenian Young Women's Association (AYWA) participated in the Europe Day info fair in Vanadzor.
During the event, the visitors became acquainted with 14 projects implemented by EU support in Armenia. The presented projects are from various sectors such as youth and education, poverty reduction, trade, culture, nature protection, business and social-economic reforms.
AYWA presented “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” project funded by the European Union.
Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) has been implementing “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” Project in Lori Region since May 2013. The project duration is three years from May 2013 to May 2016. The project partners are CISP organization, Lori Marzpetaran and Vanadzor municipality. The total amount of the project is 768.357.95 €, 80% from which is funded by the European Union, 20% is funded by AYWA.
The goal of the “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” Project is to promote the development of women’s social and economic capacities in Lori region and the improvement of women’s social and economic situation.
