Entrepreneurship Courses for Women of Spitak Cluster's Communities Launched

[Within the frameworks of “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” project entrepreneurship course has launched in Spitak community of Lori region.
The project is being implemented by the Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA). The project is funded by the European Union.
Active and beginner women entrepreneurs, agriculturists, as well as formal and non-formal women’s groups from Spitak,Arjahovit, Geghasar, Shenavan, Arevashox, Sarahart, Shirakamut communities of Spitak cluster participated in the business trainings.
The training is conducted through Competency-Based Economies through Formation of Enterprises (CEFE) methodology.
The purpose of these business trainings is to support the improvement of social and economic situation of women in Lori region by developing women’s entrepreneurship skills and knowledge.
The women having participated in the trainings have got an opportunity to develop business ideas and proposals, and submit them to AYWA for funding. The best business proposals will be selected based on the developed criteria and will be funded by AYWA.
